UNIVERSITY EDUCONS

University Educons is private university in Sremska Kamenica, Serbia, founded in June 2008. As unique interdisciplinary institution, University Educons is comprised of 11 faculties and enables bachelor, master, specialized and PhD academic studies. All 26-study programs at University Educons are accredited. Currently University Educons has around 3000 students, about 150 em-ployees, over 120 academics and 30 full-time management and administrative staff. The mission of University Educons as an integrated academic community of professors, researchers and students is development of education, harmonization of curriculum with European experience and trends, at-tractiveness and competitiveness of curriculum both competitiveness of curriculum. Institution has an expertise in researching and teaching economics, entrepreneurship, environmental protection, biology, agriculture, ecology, IT and other fields, and cooperates with the industry, professional as-sociations and business associations and managers as well as with public institutions at the national, provincial and local levels. 

UNIVERSITY OF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION AND POLICE STUDIES

The Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies was established as a legal successor of the Advanced School of Internal Affairs, formed in 1972 and Police Academy, formed in 1993. The moment of commencement of the work of the University in 2018 marks the start of a new epoch of the institution that inherits the assets of all previous institutions. The University is the only institution in the country that performs higher education activities and other forms of vocational education and training of significance for policing and security affairs. Departments within the University are: Department of Criminalistics, Department of Information Technology and Department of Forensic Engineering.
THE FACULTY OF SECURITY STUDIES, UNIVERSITY OF BELGRADE

The University of Belgrade is the oldest university in Serbia and the largest in this part of Europe. Founded in 1808, it consists of 31 faculties, 11 research institutes, 13 University centers, Computer Center and the University Library with more than 3.500.000 volumes. It provides education in sci-ences and mathematics, technology and engineering sciences, medical sciences, social sciences and humanities, with 340 study programs, over 95.000 students and 5.000 academic and research staff, 3,696 papers in 2014 on SCI, SSCI and AHCI lists, numerous publications and scientific and re-search projects.

The Faculty of Security Studies is a graduate-level member institution of the University of Belgrade and belongs to the group of the humanities faculties. The Faculty covers interrelated philosophical, socio-logical, political, legal, economic, psychological, ethical, humanitarian, civilian-military, and other aspects of the security studies, human and social resources, defence, civil defence and envi-ronment protection. Within its core activity – the security studies, the Faculty offers basic academic and undergraduate studies, Master degree studies, doctoral, and specialist undergraduate studies, as well as professional training and education. The Faculty carries out basic scholarly, applied and de-velopment research and has been accredited as a scholarly institution by the Ministry for Science and Environment of the Republic of Serbia. Over 50 professors are currently employed at the Faculty. The Faculty has had intensive cooperation with national and international institutions, as well as numerous business organizations. Based on agreements on scientific and technical cooperation, di-verse educational and commercial programs have been implemented.
BELGRADE METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY

Belgrade Metropolitan University (BMU) aims to become innovative and entrepreneurial University. Its role is not only to provide education and research missions, but also the third mission: support of entrepreneurship of its students and their faculties by developing new ideas into innovative prod-ucts, especially in area of IT. BMU is realizing this mission with close cooperation with IT compa-nies, especially in software development. Few business models have been developed so far to sup-port different needs of BMU partner companies.

BMU is an integrated university consisting of three faculties, which are no legal entities. Every year BMU enrols 350-400 new students in area of computing, business management and digital arts. BMU offers BSc programs in information technology, software engineering, information systems, game development, operations management, business and marketing, graphic design, design of in-teractive media and fashion design. MSc programs are in information security, software engineering, information systems, marketing management, and design of new media. PhD programs are in the areas of software engineering, management and development, and design of new media.

BMU operates in two campuses in Belgrade and Niš.

Almost all study programs are offered in two forms: “face-to-face” and “online” (using e-learning). Most of BMU programs are offered as online programs. Each year, BMU offers over 200 online courses. BMU has been devoted to improving its teaching and scientific methods throughout the years, through national and international projects. BMU is developing, advancing and implementing new teaching and learning methodologies, for both “face-to-face” and “online” studies.

UNIVERSITY OF DEFENCE IN BELGRADE

University of Defence in Belgrade is an independent accredited higher education institution that per-forms the activity of higher education through academic studies of the Bachelor, Master and PhD level from multiple scientific fields in the educational and scientific fields of humanities, natural-mathematical, technical-technological and medical sciences. According to the Statute of the Univer-sity of Defence, the University consists of 2 faculties: Military Academy and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy. Teaching is conducted by 415 professors, arts teachers and associ-ates, through 32 accredited study programs at all three levels of study, for about 2000 students. Be-sides accredited study programs, University of Defence implements officers career development courses, specializations in the health profession and other forms of education throughout life. With-in the scope of the activities related to higher education, the University does scientific and research work through fundamental, applied and development research aimed at the enhancement and mod-ernization of education in the defence system. As part of the research activities at the University, 46 research projects funded by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, are being imple-mented. University of Defence also participated in international scientific research project in Bioen-gineering and Medical Informatics (within TEMPUS programme), and it is now participating in the ERASMUS+ Project "Development of master curricula for natural disasters risk management in Western Balkan countries - NatRisk". A number of teachers and researchers of the Uni-versity of Defence are participating in projects funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia.

STEINBEIS ADVANCED RISK TECHNOLOGIES INSTITUTE DOO

Steinbeis Advanced Risk Technologies Institute doo was founded on March 2015 in Kragujevac, Serbia as the Franchisee of Steinbeis GmbH & Co. KG für Technologietransfer (StC), Stuttgart, Germany. The Steinbeis Advanced Risk Technologies Institute doo Kragujevac is one of more than 1000 Steinbeis units present in 50+ countries in the world. The Institute is a branch of the Steinbeis Transfer Institute Advanced Risk Technologies and is offer-ing as part of the Steinbeis University Berlin professional certification and degree programs. STEINBEIS-HOCHSCHULE BERLIN GMBH

Founded in 1998, Steinbeis University Berlin (SHB) is a state-approved private university that offers students and companies practice-oriented, extra-occupational higher education based on the project competence concept, leading to nationally recognized qualifications. The research carried out by SHB focuses on issues with practical applications. The SHB portfolio of courses ranges from certi-fication courses to degrees and doctoral programs. During the competence developing Steinbeis de-grees students manage and implement projects in the company sponsoring their studies. SANT'ANNA SCHOOL OF ADVANCED STUDIES - Institute of Management

The SSSA is a public university institute with special autonomy. With its six research institutes the SSSA is working in the field of applied sciences: Economics and Management, Law, Political Sci-ences, Agricultural Sciences and Plant Biotechnology, Medicine, and Industrial and Information En-gineering.

The SSSA appeared among the 10 best universities under 50 years old in the World University Rank-ing 2016/17 of "Time Higher Education".

The SSSA team possesses extensive expertise in a large number of European, international and national projects in collaboration with private and public entities. SSSA is specialized in:

- management of European Project: 5th, 6th, 7th FPs project and EU research projects under H2020 (n.29 projects funded by the EU under the H2020 for a total amount of 12 mil/€; Coordinator for a total amount of 3 mil/€) carried on and, Life plus and EC framework contracts.

Institute of Management is active in the field of management in the context of private and public organizations as support to a renewed entrepreneurship, in a synergetic perspective, among business, institutions and research. IdM is the result of a long-term cultural project with particular reference to the management of innovation, sustainability and health.

THE MAIN SCHOOL OF FIRE SERVICE

The Main School of Fire Service (SGSP) in Warsaw is the only one in Poland and one of the few state technical universities in the world, which trains fire officers and educates specialists in fire safety and civil safety engineering. SGSP reports to the Minister of Interior and Administration and is scientifically and educationally supervised by Ministry of Science and Higher Education. It has full academic rights and constitutes an organisational unit of the State Fire Service (PSP). SGSP his-tory commences in 1919 as Central Technical Training School for Fire-fighters. Nowadays, SGSP, as a technical university, provides studies on two faculties: Fire Safety Engineering Faculty (Fire Pro-tection) and Civil Safety Engineering Faculty (Civil Protection) as well as on some interfaculty divi-sions. The studies curricula include a very broad range of specialised theoretical and practical sub-jects and trainings. SGSP offers two types of classes: day and extramural, both of the same academ-ic character. Graduates can obtain either bachelor (Fire Engineer, Civil Safety Engineer), licentiate (Internal Security) or master degree (Master of Engineering in Fire Protection, Master of Engineering in Civil Protection, Master of Internal Security).

Among numerous laboratories there is also a special unit and laboratory of Hazardous Materials and Environmental Threats Neutralisation and Rescue that runs every day studies (lectures, classes, la-boratory tasks) as well as research projects. SGSP is also a scientific entity that runs research pro-jects in the field of fire protection and civil protection. Besides national projects SGSP (co-financed from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education) actively participates in European projects. Till now SGSP has run/has been running international projects in frames of Tempus Phare, Interreg IIIB Baltic Sea Program, 5-th and 7-th Framework Program, Action Program for Civil Protection (DG ENV), Horyzont 2020 and Financial Instrument for Civil Protection (DG ENV). SGSP is an Europe-an training centre for the European Community Mechanism for Civil Protection.

IONIAN UNIVERSITY, RESEARCH COMMITTEE, DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATICS

The Department of Informatics was founded by the Greek Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs in 2004 and its scope covers Theoretical as well as Applied Informatics. It is located in the city of Corfu, Greece. The mission of the Department is to advance scientific and research activities not already covered by existing university departments throughout Greece and foster innovation and partnerships in advanced technological fields by bridging the gap between businesses and academia. As a result, its function is complementary to that of similar departments in Greece and is clearly focused on novel applications in the areas of Information Systems and Humanistic Informatics. Information Systems, on the one hand, is a crucial factor regarding production, innovation services and management in enterprises nowadays. Humanistic Informatics, on the other hand, addresses the needs for education and research within the area of Informatics, and tones in with the nature of the Ionian University. In addition to the educational focus, one of the key activities of the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University is research. More specifically, the Department's research activities are orientated towards the development of novel applications in the aforementioned research areas of Information Systems and Humanistic Informatics. The fields of current research interest in the of Department focus on several thematic units, such as Knowledge Management & Acquisition, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Tourism Informatics, Performance Analysis & Scalability issues, Databases & Information Systems, Biometrics, Computational grids and Artificial Intelligence. Moreover, Ionian University's 6.000+ undergraduate and graduate students collaborate with more than 150 faculty members and staff in its campuses scattered around Corfu town. It holds a large experience in combing Information & Communication Technologies with both the entrepreneurship and innovation sectors through its implementation of related European regional and national projects, as well as implementing new strategies in related entrepreneurial fields.
